Are you ready for some relaxation and fun (also known as crafting therapy)? I know I am! Well, why not join me this Saturday for some crafty classes?!
Have you ever wanted to see what scrapbooking is all about? Well, here’s your chance. This Saturday, June 28, 2014, I will be hosting a Scrapbooking 101 Class from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. The class is free, but you will need to purchase some supplies and bring along ten to twenty photos of your choice. I will take you through the organizational processes, basic design considerations, and essential tools and how to use them properly. We will work on a basic page layout before you leave the class to get you started on the scrapbooking journey.
Then I hope you will stick around for the Distress Tags Class from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. We will explore blending and distressing techniques using the wonderful Ranger Distress Ink Pads and Stampers Anonymous clear acrylic stamps and #8 manilla tags. Take these techniques and create your own wonderful bookmarks, gift tags and journal tags for your scrapbook pages. You will be in love with ‘Distress’ by the time we are done. This will be the last time this class is offered.
And finally you can apply those tag techniques to make some terrific cards at the Distressed Cards Class from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. We will make these three cards using stamping and distressing techniques that you can use to create your own master pieces. This will also be the final opportunity to take this class.
Class sign-ups need to be in by Friday morning to avoid class cancellation, so don’t wait too long. See you there!
