Final Classes for July

My, how fast summer is flying by! To think that school will be starting in just 3 weeks. Well, I guess we had better get our crafting on before the school routine kicks in. Before I tell you about this weekend’s classes, I’d like to get your help. I’d like to know what kinds of classes you would be interested in taking, so I have added a poll to the blog so you can help me plan some new classes.

If you don’t see a listing for the craft that makes your heart sing, please leave a comment after voting and tell me what you would like to see offered. Who knows, maybe it will be the next BIG THING. I’m looking forward to learning what most interests you and would appreciate it if you shared the link to this poll with others you know who like to take craft classes. I’m hoping to better meet the needs of my audience in the future.

And now, for the Saturday, July 26, 2014 weekend class line-up.

Word Art Canvas Class

Such a fun and simple way to brighten up a room with these Word Art Canvases. This class starts at 12:30 pm and runs to 2:30 pm. Turn plain white canvases into personalized inspiration with some paper, stickers, paint and flowers (or other embellishments of your creative choice). Come check out how easy this project is and turn your creativity loose on your own interpretations of this art form. A great way to brighten up a playroom, a craft room, family room, etc. You get the idea.

Chalkboard Banner Class

Then finish off with this very versatile chalkboard banner. Write a unique and personal message and erase and reuse for the next occasion. Add colored chalk for even more artistic expression. This would look great paired with the Word Art Canvases, too! This class starts at 3:30 pm and runs to 5:30 pm.

Did I mention how nice and cool the classroom will be? A great way to get out of the heat and stay cool while having fun with others learning something enjoyable and practical, too. Hope to see you then, and don’t forget to complete the class interest poll.
