I’m glad you stopped by my blog. Let me tell you a little about myself. I live in San Jacinto, California with my hubby Lewis and our daughter Christina. I have been the Papercraft Instructor at the Hemet Michael’s store since September 2013. I love getting together with my fellow crafters to crop and create wonderful things twice a month at the store. I have been scrapbooking regularly for the past five years and loving every minute of it.
I have loved vintage items since childhood when I fell in love with all the glorious treasures in my grandma’s farm attic: old fabric, old magazines, old books and ephemera, old clothing and especially old Christmas decorations. One of my greatest worldly treasures is an old scrapbook that was probably created by my great-grandmother. It has wonderful old scraps from shortly after the turn of the twentieth century. I became its owner after the death of my grandparents and I have been hooked on vintage and antique crafting ever since. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa!
I have dreamed of owning a crafters’ refuge housed in an old Victorian home someday. I would love to have a wide screen TV from which we could view youtube videos of our favorite trends and techniques in one room, a lounge for coffee and tea, boutique rooms, and of course tons of vintage supplies to purchase as we create inspiring items and take classes and learn from one another (and socialize and have a good time, too!). I would love to have the opportunity to attend Ranger U someday and study from my favorite craft hero, Tim Holtz. I would also love to be on a design team one day. How about you? What do you dream of doing? What are your crafting goals? I hope you will take a moment to share them here so we can get to know one another.
