Final Classes for July

My, how fast summer is flying by! To think that school will be starting in just 3 weeks. Well, I guess we had better get our crafting on before the school routine kicks in. Before I tell you about this weekend’s classes, I’d like to get your help. I’d like to know what kinds of classes you would be interested in taking, so I have added a poll to the blog so you can help me plan some new classes.

If you don’t see a listing for the craft that makes your heart sing, please leave a comment after voting and tell me what you would like to see offered. Who knows, maybe it will be the next BIG THING. I’m looking forward to learning what most interests you and would appreciate it if you shared the link to this poll with others you know who like to take craft classes. I’m hoping to better meet the needs of my audience in the future.

And now, for the Saturday, July 26, 2014 weekend class line-up.

Vintage Star Banner

Remember the July 4th Décor Inspiration I posted earlier? Well, I decided to give this project a try…and here is my finished banner. It’s two-sided so I can hang it on a door frame between rooms if I want to.

Graphic 45 Star

www.pinkcloudscrappers.blogspot.com/2014/03/should-have-been-xyron-but-now-it-is.html

I just saw this project in the Scrapbook Expo Weekly Scrapper newsletter and can’t wait to try it out. I have some wonderful leftover Tim Holtz 4th of July papers that would work really well for this project. So dig out your distress ink pads and let’s do some distressing! I’m thinking this would be interesting to do with a Christmas theme as well. What do you think? So hop on over to Lori Williams’ blog – Pinkcloud Scrappers – for the project directions and then change it up and make it your own.
